Sitka Sue’s Story
On October 20, 2023, Sitka Sue and owner, Susan Pritchard, attempted to peacefully fly home to California. Sitka was flying to her new forever home as she was adopted that day from a Colorado Springs ranch kennel. The events in the following two publications, with links below, explain what happened on the attempted Southwest Flight and the peaceful, successful, United Airlines flight.

Rather than respond with a negative to such a horrific event, Susan Pritchard wrote a book, the first of many, to send a VERY POSITIVE MESSAGE to all. The book is a picture book, but it is a fun and caring read for everyone. The message is a positive one which ends with a suggested opportunity for the readers to spread Sitka’s Love by supporting The Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Texas (https://www.bdrr.org/ ) or your local animal shelter. Proceeds from the book sales will support the Big Dog Ranch Rescue Rescue in Texas.
